What is the typical lead time for a project?

The typical lead time for full production orders averages from 12-16 weeks (includes 8-12 weeks for production and 4-6 weeks of transit time), from the receipt of PO/deposit, approved shop drawings and receipt of COM fabrics. Our model room production lead times range from 4-6 weeks (plus shipping) after receipt of the required submittals listed above.

How long does it take to receive shop drawings for approval?

Our CAD team is dedicated to executing your design vision in a precise and efficient manner. The typical turnaround time for shop drawings is 4-6 business days, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Do I have to provide a finish sample, or do you have samples available to select from?

You are welcome to provide a control sample that we will custom match, or you may choose from one of our many luxurious standard finish options. Please visit our Furniture Finishes tab to explore the finish options we offer, or contact your local rep to get one of our finish boxes for your library.

Where is the furniture manufactured?

We have partnered with key factories in Southern China that fabricate only for Furniture Atelier’s distribution in North America. Many of our factories use European engineering techniques and uphold to the highest fabrication standards.

How do I locate my local rep?

Our local representatives team is still growing, and while we have some reps in key territories, we are still searching for more to support outlying areas. If you cannot locate your local rep from our Representatives tab under Contacts, please send us an email in the Contact Us tab, so we can connect with you.

Is all your furniture custom, or do you have readily available options?

All our furniture is crafted to order, as we do not have any ‘stocked’ or ‘readily’ available items. We are working on some collections that you can use as a starting point to alter for dimension and/or finish to work with your design. Be sure to check back soon to see those collections on our website!

Is there a minimum order requirement?

Yes, the minimum order is one. :-) We will gladly work with you on any project small or large and will provide the same quality and approach regardless.

Will the model room and full production furniture be made in the same factory?

Yes, we will always ensure that the model room and full-production goods are made in the same factory. When quoting the project, we request production availability from the factory to ensure we can meet your time frames for on time deliveries, and budgetary purposes.

How long does it take to get a price quote?

Depending on the complexity of the project and how much information has been provided, you should receive a price quote within 5 business days.

How do you handle quality control?

We have a dedicated staff in China that visits our factories daily to oversee your project from beginning to end. A project manager will be assigned to your project at the initial quote stage, and will see it through to completion to ensure that the highest quality standards and design interpretations are being met.
